Vision

Act 26.19 - "Therefore, King Agrippa, I was not disobedient to the heavenly vision."

To receive a vision, a direction for your life, is so important, precious. To have a direction and a well-defined sense of purpose is like having a treasure, a gift from God to your journey.

Clearly, it can be seen in Paul's life a radical change of direction after his encounter with the Lord Jesus on the Damascus road. What was once a persecutor, living with his own perceptions and instincts, now earns a heavenly vision for his life. Paul completely changed his life direction, now investing his time and energy in the purposes that God had separated for him.

Certainly, Paul was many times tempted to leave the difficult path of being obedient to the heavenly vision. Beatings, imprisonment, religious pressure, sometimes ending up on a top of a stick when his boat capsized on the way to Rome, all this would be a sufficient evidence, for some people, that his ministry was not thriving, and he'd rather abandon it. Paul stood firm in the heavenly vision for his life, even if contrary to human logic and arguments of many, brother Paul was firm and convinced of his calling and destiny.

John 3: 8 says, "The wind blows where it wishes, and you hear its sound, but you can not tell where it comes from and where it goes; so is every one that is born of the Spirit. "

The words of Jesus to Nicodemus are strong but very clear with regard to the sovereignty of the wind blowing wherever it pleases and that we can hear its voice! ... Those who are born again!

In John 10 Jesus teaches: “My sheep hears my voice."

What a blessing, my sheep hears my voice! Sometimes they do not know where it comes from, or even where they will go, but they can hear my voice !

Certainly with Paul was so, he heard the voice of the Lord and received a clear direction for his life and in this vision he remained. He was not disobedient, even when his friends did not understand him and or being out of the church’s standards in Jerusalem, he was convinced of the calling upon him .

God has a vision for your life ! By the Spirit of God who dwells in you now, you will be able to listen, discern, and be guided in this way. My prayer is that you and I would never be disobedient to vision that one day we received from our Lord and God.
